Alejandro Garcia Associate
Alejandro Garcia was born and raised in Miami. After attending Florida State University for his undergraduate studies, he obtained his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. He focuses his practice primarily on the defense of lawyers and other professionals, condominium, homeowner and co-operative associations and their directors, employers and insurance carriers in a wide range of actions in state and federal courts and before state and federal administrative bodies. He regularly handles professional negligence lawsuits, discrimination actions before the EEOC and the FCHR, disputes between associations and their members, coverage analysis for some of the largest insurance carriers in the country and first-party property insurance cases. Alejandro prides himself on his ability to accurately assess the merits of a case and craft a cost effective strategy to obtain the best result for the client.
Prior to joining Boyd Richards Parker & Colonnelli, PL, Alejandro honed his legal skills at a nationally recognized South Florida business litigation firm and at the Miami-Dade Office of the State Attorney as a Certified Legal Intern.

Represented property appraiser in third-party assignee professional negligence action and obtained dismissal with prejudice in US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Represented Condominium Association and Directors on a Defendant’s counterclaim in a foreclosure action and obtained dismissal with prejudice of all 16 counts asserted against Association and Directors.
Represented national insurance carrier in multiple title bond litigations and obtained full value of claim via settlement in less than 6 months of litigation.
Represented medical practice group in a discrimination proceeding before the Florida Commissions on Human Relations and obtained a dismissal with prejudice of petition for administrative review before the Florida Department of Administrative Hearings.
Represented homeowners Association and Directors in derivative action brought by former Board President and obtained a dismissal with prejudice of all claims against Association and Directors in exchange for nominal sum of money.
Represented condominium Association in litigation brought by utility auditing company where liability could not be disputed and secured favorable settlement for less than full value of claim and additional time to pay settlement.
Represented diagnostic lab in personal injury litigation filed by individual who fainted during a blood draw and secured favorable settlement for client.
