Brian J. Hart Associate

Background

Prior to joining Boyd, Richards, Parker & Colonnelli, Brian worked as a Staff Attorney with Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP where he concentrated his practice on Community Associations law, handling the litigation for all collections and enforcement actions for nearly 50 associations. Brian was also an Assistant State Attorney of the Twentieth Judicial Circuit, where he gained significant litigation experience both individually and as co-counsel. In his role, Brian managed more than 300 cases, which included conducting and defending depositions, legal research, witness preparation, and drafting briefs for appeals filed against the State.

While in law school, Brian was the Executive Director of Florida Coastal’s Pro Bono Program, Coordinator of the Veteran’s Legal Collaborative, and President of the Military Law Society. Brian completed over 400 hours of legal pro bono work, most of which were dedicated to assisting local homeless veterans in the Jacksonville, Florida area.

Brian is a decorated United States Army Veteran. While serving in the Army, Brian deployed multiple times to the Middle East in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.

Brian is the proud father to his daughter who is a pursuing her educational goals at UCLA.
