
Connie F. Chen Associate
Background
Connie F. Chen joined the Miami office of Boyd Richards Parker & Colonnelli, P.L. as an associate in July 2020. Born in Beijing, China, Connie moved to the United States at age five and currently resides in Miami, Florida.
Prior to joining Boyd Richards, Connie was an associate at a prominent commercial litigation firm, where she represented international corporations, real estate developers, and banking institutions in both federal and state courts. Her practice primarily focuses on complex business litigation and contract enforcement and defense. Connie also worked as a law clerk for the Hon. Milton Hirsch of the 11th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, where she gained experience in criminal and post-conviction practice.

Connie is a member of the Florida Bar. She is admitted to practice in Florida State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
EDUCATION
Connie received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2017. During law school, she was a published author and senior editor of the Inter-American Law Review, competed on behalf of the Moot Court Board, and handled cases for the Innocence Clinic. She also holds a B.A in Psychology and minor in Sociology from Emory University in Atlanta. Connie speaks English and Mandarin Chinese.
