Background

Marta holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida International University and an associate’s degree in paralegal studies from Briarcliffe College. She has been a Paralegal for over twenty-five years.

Before joining the firm, Marta has managed numerous of cases from the inception to completion in the areas of mass tort litigation, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, securities litigation, premise liability, nursing home negligence, personal injury, product liability, maritime and commercial litigation.

Throughout her career, she has worked for both Plaintiff and Defendant side. Her focus at the present time is primarily on insurance defense cases. She assists attorneys in pre-suit and litigation discovery, preparing for deposition, mediation, hearings, and trial.

Personal interests:

Marta enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her rescue dogs. Both her husband and her are animal lovers and together co-own five rescued dogs.
