Bill is a partner in the Boyd Richards Parker & Colonnelli, P.L. Fort Lauderdale office whose trial and appellate practices focus on general liability and insurance related matters including wrongful death, automotive and tractor-trailer liability, property and casualty, and construction defect litigation. He has extensive experience representing general contractors, business owners, common carriers, and insurers across the state of Florida. In addition to his court experience, Bill represents many clients in alternative dispute resolution.
A native of South Florida, Bill graduated from Stetson University in 2004 with a bachelor of arts. In 2007, he earned his juris doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law. Prior to working for the firm, he served as an Assistant Public Defender for the 17th Circuit of Broward County where he was lead counsel in dozens of bench and jury trials.

Secured the voluntary dismissal of a wrongful death case filed by the survivors of a bicyclist killed in an automobile accident. Successfully obtained an appellate court’s writ of certiorari against a lower court order in an insurance coverage dispute. Successfully defended a general contractor at trial against a claim of injury brought by a person injured while impermissibly accessing a construction site.
