Background

Iuliia Kassai is an Associate in Boyd Richards Parker & Colonnelli, P.L.’s New York City office. Iuliia focuses on complex commercial and real estate law providing counsel to directors and managers of condominium and cooperative boards and handling litigation involving all facets of shareholder and owner-related disputes, election challenges, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract claims, and civil rights actions.

Before joining the Firm, Iuliia was an Associate in an AmLaw 200 firm where she prosecuted complex class action securities fraud cases on behalf of institutional investors. She also has experience handling complex securities actions in federal, state, and appellate courts, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Prior to that, she focused on complex corporate and commercial matters and had the honor of working as a Commercial Division Judicial Intern to Justice Andrea Masley and as a Civil Division Judicial Fellow to Justice Gerald Lebovits at the Supreme Court of the State of New York.

Iuliia is an active member of the New York City Bar Association, where she serves as a member of the Task Force on the Independence of Lawyers and Judges, as well as the New York State Bar Association.

Iuliia earned her Master of Laws from Fordham University School of Law, where she was awarded the Graduate Student Scholarship for Academic Achievement. She earned her law degree from Moscow State Law Academy, cum laude, and was recognized as one of The Best Graduates of the Year by the Ministry of Education.

She is fluent in Russian.
