Background

Amy Soto is an associate in the Miami office. A native of Miami, Amy joined Boyd, Richards Parker & Colonnelli in early 2019 after completing a year as a law clerk for a federal judge in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Prior to that, Amy was an associate at a large Florida-based defense firm with offices throughout the southern U.S., focusing on employment law and director’s and officer’s liability.

Amy joined the firm in December of 2018 focusing on the defense of employers, condominium and home owners associations boards, private D&O, professional malpractice and commercial litigation.

Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from Florida International University, where she was a Presidential Scholarship recipient, an Hispanic Scholarship Fund recipient, and a Florida Bright Futures Scholarship recipient. Amy received a Juris Doctor cum laude from University of Miami School of Law, where she was the Executive Editor of the Inter-American Law Review and the recipient of the Most Outstanding Articles and Comments Editor Award.
