Background

Maria Boboris is a Partner of Boyd Richards Parker & Colonnelli, P.L.’s New York office. Since 2017, her practice has focused on providing counsel to directors and managers of condominium and cooperative boards, and handing litigation and appellate cases involved all facets of condominium, cooperative, and real estate law. These matters include shareholder and owner-related disputes, election issues, civil rights claims, breach of contract claims, and breach of fiduciary duty disputes.

Maria began her career as a commercial litigator in an AmLaw 200 firm and, prior to joining the Co-op/Condo practice, represented a wide range of clients including Fortune 500 companies and financial institutions in both state and federal litigations involving complex contract disputes, securities fraud, common law claims, corporate governance disputes, and trust and estate administration.

Maria’s varied litigation experience, which spans nearly two decades, enables her to tackle all aspects of litigation, to critically analyze complex legal issues, and to reach efficient and cost-effective resolutions for her clients.

Admissions/Education

Maria is admitted to practice in New York State and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Maria graduated cum laude from St. John’s University of Law where she had the distinction of serving as Articles and Notes Editor of the St John’s Law Review. Maria received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The George Washington University, where she graduated magna cum laude.
