Matthew Rook Partner
Background
Matt Rook is a partner in the Boyd Richards Parker & Colonnelli, P.L., Fort Lauderdale Office. His practice is focused on first party and third-party insurance defense related to matters involving property and casualty, premises liability, wrongful death, automotive and commercial vehicle liability. He has extensive experience representing Insurance Companies, insureds, companies, and business owners across the state of Florida. He handles all aspects of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial.
Matt was born in Washington State, but grew up in South Florida. He attended Florida State University, graduating in 2010 and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Political Science. Thereafter, he went on to attend law school at St. Thomas University School of Law, obtaining his juris doctor in 2013.
Matt joined the firm in 2011, serving as a law clerk while attending law school at St. Thomas University School of Law. He is a member of the Florida Bar, American Bar Association, Broward County Bar Association, Florida Defense Lawyers Association, Claims and Litigation Management Alliance, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
