Background

Nicholas “Nico” Riger is an associate at the firm’s Fort Lauderdale location, where he is primarily focused on all aspects of insurance defense litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Nico was an Assistant State Attorney in the felony division of the Broward County State Attorney’s Office. There, he gained experience handling a variety of jury trials from inception to verdict. Currently, Nico is concentrated on bringing his extensive court room experience to the focused issues of civil litigation.

Nico is a lifelong Floridian and grew up in Palm Beach County. He first attended Florida State University and achieved a Bachelor of Science in Criminology. Immediately thereafter, he attended law school at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law in Davie, Florida in the fall of 2018. While in law school, Nico was a judicial intern for the Honorable Stacy M. Ross of the 17th Judicial Circuit in Broward County.
