Sally H. Seltzer Partner
Background
Sally Helen Seltzer is a partner at Boyd Richards Parker & Colonnelli and is based in the Miami office. Ms. Seltzer concentrates her trial and litigation practice in the defense of both individuals and businesses sued for miscellaneous general liability matters including premises liability, automobile negligence, negligent security, and those resulting in wrongful death. Ms. Seltzer’s practice also includes the defense of professional liability matters with a niche in the defense of insurance agents and brokers.
Ms. Seltzer is a certified instructor with the State of Florida, Department of Financial Services, and has provided licensed insurance professionals continuing education to meet requirements under licensure with the state of Florida. She has also provided continuing education courses to members of legal organizations in Florida, as well as in-service presentations for insurance companies.
Admissions/Education
Ms. Seltzer was raised in the Boston area, attending Emerson College and Northeastern University and obtained her law degree in 1999 from Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University in Florida.
Ms. Seltzer is licensed to practice law in both Florida and Massachusetts and is admitted to practice before all U.S. District Courts in Florida.
Ms. Seltzer is a member of the Broward County Bar Association, Dade County Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, and Florida Defense Lawyers Association (Recipient of the Joseph P. Metzger Outstanding Achievement Award.)
