Background

Eric Basterrechea is a partner who practices out of the firm’s Miami office. Born In Secaucus, New Jersey, Eric was raised in Miami, Florida.  He attended undergraduate school at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey where he earned a degree in Political Science.  He earned his Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law in 2004.  After honing his trial litigation skills practicing in the New York City metropolitan area for over a decade, Eric returned to South Florida to continue his career as a trial litigator.

Eric is an experienced bodily injury trial attorney licensed in Florida, New York and New Jersey.  He has dedicated most of his career litigating third-party insurance defense claims as in-house counsel for several insurance carriers with a focus on auto negligence, premises liability and related tort claims.  Eric has litigated over thirty cases to jury trial verdict for both plaintiffs and defendants in New York City and Miami.
