Background

Liana Casalins joined the Ft. Lauderdale office of Boyd Richards Park & Colonnelli, P.L. in April 2023. Liana was born in Colombia and raised in New York and later relocated to Florida. She started her career as a legal secretary for a solo practitioner who taught her Florida law and civil procedure. She has been a Florida Registered Paralegal since 2000 and has been a litigation paralegal for over 24 years. Liana has worked on numerous cases from inception to completion in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, ERISA, labor and employment, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury cases arising out motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical negligence, negligence, and products liability.

Liana assists the firm’s attorneys in litigation management, investigation, client communications, drafting and responding to discovery requests and preparing for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials. In addition, she serves as an interpreter for our Spanish speaking clients.

Liana is an avid music aficionado. Enjoys fitness, dance, good food and travel.
