Melodie Rivero Associate


Melodie Rivero is an associate in the firm’s Miami office. Melodie’s practice involves all aspects of federal and state civil trial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Melodie defended insurance companies in the areas of premises liability, nursing home & assisted living, product liability, and automobile negligence. Melodie also handled employment litigation matters, including FLSA and FMLA violations, and Title VII violations including discrimination, retaliation, and sexual harassment.

Melodie was born and raised in Miami and obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami. Melodie attended the Florida International University College of Law, where she competed nationally as a member of the Negotiation and Mediation Team, served as the President for the student chapter for the Cuban American Bar Association, and interned at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. Upon graduation, Melodie was awarded the Negotiation and Mediation Team Outstanding Advocacy Award and the Pro Bono Service Medallion.
