Background

Sylvie Rampal is an Associate with Boyd Richards Parker & Colonnelli, P.L., where she concentrates her practice on employment, data privacy, regulatory compliance, construction litigation, and complex insurance and reinsurance matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Sylvie served as in-house counsel for a major property and casualty insurance carrier. She began her commercial litigation practice at Conrad & Scherer LLP, where she developed broad experience in high-stakes matters involving financial services, insurance, employment, securities, information and data governance/data privacy, land use and construction disputes.

Sylvie is committed to mentoring, public service, and advancing women in the legal profession. Complementing her legal career, Sylvie is active in the legal community: She serves on the Trial Workshop Committee of the Miami-Dade, Florida Association for Women Lawyers, on the Planning and Programming Committee for the MDFAWL-GSCBWLA Leadership Academy, and on the Board of the Gwen S. Cherry Black Women Lawyers Association. Recognized as a rising leader in the legal profession, Sylvie has received multiple honors, including the 2025 Woman to Watch Impact Award (Miami-Dade, FAWL). She was also named, in 2021, as a “Top Lawyer” in Government Relations, a Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star, and one of the Faces of Fort Lauderdale in High-Stakes Litigation.

She is admitted to practice law in New York and Florida and holds a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Florida
